One of the greatest responsibilities of leadership is to train the next generation of leaders within the organization. My sessions focus on providing a baseline of content and quickly moving into application with the goal of creating a structured plan to follow beyond the day. Each individual's needs and strengths will be different so the course maintains flexibility within the coursework so that the individual can focus on particular areas. 

We've all been through those classes that are great when you're in them, but whose message is quickly forgotten once you've returned to work. For that reason I always provide a follow-up to the session with each individual to ensure that the bridge is created between principle and practice. 

From my first job as a swim instructor, to a couple of near misses on being an English and History teacher, to eventually training hundreds of team members throughout my career. Leadership Boot Camp: New Leaders

Best for leaders with less than 6 months of experience. In this class we'll take new leaders through 10 common leadership areas including Communication, Delegation, Prioritizing, Hiring, etc. We will also cover common issues including running meetings, dealing with friends who you now oversee, discipline, conducting one-on-ones, and several others. This is a very interactive session where we will be creating individual action plans for each new leader to follow over the coming months.

To make this as impactful as possible for your organization I will conduct interviews ahead of time with personnel of your choosing to identify organization specific issues and challenges. I will also follow-up with each attendee 30-45 days following session for an additional status check and coaching session. Price p/attendee will cover all materials, travel and include a book of your organization's choosing for each attendee

In this class we'll take experienced leaders through a more in-depth review of 10 common leadership areas including Communication, Delegation, Prioritizing, Hiring, etc. This will include a review of the basics of each area, but also include discussions of resistance and common pitfalls surrounding each area. We will also review common issues of experienced leaders including dealing with failure, mentoring, taking a leadership role in the organization, and several others. This is a very interactive session where we will be creating individual action plans for each new leader to follow over the coming months. 

To make this as impactful as possible for your organization I will conduct interviews ahead of time with personnel of your choosing to identify organization specific issues and challenges. I will also follow-up with each attendee 30-45 days following session for an additional status check and coaching session. The 7 deadly sins of leadership

In this class we'll take leaders through the most common pitfalls of leadership. Human nature leaves us susceptible to a number of leadership "sins". There are no perfect leaders in the world and we will discuss how to deal with issues like Not Listening, Micromanagement, Poor Hiring, Delegation, and many more under summary headings including Pride, Greed, Envy, etc. This session requires a level of trust and openness on an individual level that we will work on from the start. As the session progresses we'll transition into better teamwork and support mechanisms to ensure the message lives on once the session is over.
